Cut AutoTrader down to the good deals

AutoFilter hides AutoTrader UK search results by their price label. Keep the Great and Good prices, lose the rest. It works on the page already in your tab and sends nothing anywhere.

A speedometer with AutoTrader's five price labels around the dial: Lower, Great, Good, Fair and Higher price, in AutoTrader's colours. The needle moves like a rev counter on a gentle drive. The readout says 18 of 26 listings shown. LOWER GREAT GOOD FAIR HIGHER 18 / 26 LISTINGS SHOWN

AutoTrader's five price labels, round the dial. Point at one to see what it means.

Three moves on every search

These tiles are a working sample. Tick labels, flip switches and watch the listings react, just as they would on AutoTrader. Nothing here connects to AutoTrader.

It reads AutoTrader's own labels

AutoTrader already tags most listings with a price indicator: Great, Good, Fair, Higher or Lower price. AutoFilter reads that badge on every result card, along with AutoTrader's “You may also like” marker and any insurance write-off category.

Ringed: the label AutoFilter reads from each card. Illustrative listing.

Tick the labels you want to see. Untick the rest.

In the extension these wait for “Apply to page”. Here they apply at once.

The rest step aside

Filtered cars disappear and the remaining ones close ranks, with no gaps left in the grid. A status bar above the list shows what's filtered.

    Clear out the clutter

Hide cars AutoTrader hasn't labelled, and the “You may also like” tiles it mixes in from outside your search. Write-off cars start hidden.

    Hidden, not deleted

Filtered cards are hidden, not removed, so AutoTrader's page keeps working normally and everything comes back the moment you pause. Your choices are kept for when you switch back on.
